Here’s what you can do to avoid that fate
Stay informed, using credible websites to get information about various hazards.
House documents on the cloud, not in your office computer, and back up all important documents.
Keep office property secure and out of danger from flooding. Hire a cyber security expert and make sure all your systems are secure and virus-free.
Plan for business continuity.
Identify a backup location.
Plan for an emergency with extra batteries, a secure safe or filing cabinet, a disaster supply kit with battery-powered radio, device charger, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, flashlights, waterproof bags, etc.
Increase awareness, develop action plans and adhere to that strategic guidance. The right time to plan is not when the storm is already moving in.
